Adelaide will be expecting big things this season from Douglas who is entering his third season of AFL football after being taken at pick 16 in the 2005 NAB AFL Draft. He has the ability to play at either end of the ground with enough class to also slot into a midfield role. He made 13 appearances last season, including the first eight games of the season. He is an inside ball winner who is yet to win more than 17 disposals in a match, but he did show an ability to sniff out a goal with a seven goal haul for Glenelg at SANFL level last season.
