Hentschel will make his comeback this season after a horrendous knee injury suffered in 2006 kept him out for the entirety of last season. Back in 2006, he finished second at the Crows in goalkicking with 42, grabbed the second most marks inside 50 at the club as well as the second most contested marks. With the departures of Mark Ricciuto, Ian Perrie and Scott Welsh from the club, Hentschel's importance to Adelaide's forward line will be even greater than it was before his injury.
