Biglands missed the entire 2007 season after injuring his knee in the 2006 finals series. With the departure of fellow ruckman, Ben Hudson, the Crows would have been hoping that he could return to the No.1 ruck spot in 2008. Unfortunately, Biglands re-injured his knee in the 2008 pre-season and may be out for another three months. He is not a big ball winner but showed in 2006 that he is capable of providing a viable option up forward booting 20 goals in 23 games.
