Last weekend against the Saints was very workman-like, with everyone doing their role for the team and getting the job done. It was great to get Big Bazza back and he looked sharp and will be much better for the run out and will need another few weeks to get his touch back but the early signs are very good following his wrist surgery.

We are playing some fantastic football at the moment and are really on a good roll, we have won the past five and have one more game this weekend against Melbourne in Canberra on Sunday before we get a bye. This will be no easy game for us and one we are very wary of as the Demons do play well against us and we need to be right on our game so as not to let them jump us.

Following the game we are given five days off and I personally can't wait. My Mum is arriving over from Ireland on Friday morning at 5am so if there is anyone out there who wants to pick her up from the airport please send me an e-mail. It's going to be great to have Mum out, I'll have some great meals cooked for me, my clothes will be washed and the house will be sparkling. You got to love having your Mum calling for a few weeks!

My girlfriend Nicole, myself and my Mum are going up to North Queensland for the five days to try and get some sun and sit by the pool and relax and get away from footy and Sydney for a few days.

So before that, like I said we have a real danger game this weekend we must take care of and then it's off up the coast for five days.
