NFL media on Aaron Hernandez news

Complicated thoughts on Hernandez. Suicide is a difficult end, yet he was the architect of his own house. Thinking of his daughter today.

As I ponder how I feel about Aaron Hernandez' death, I also ponder Dan Rooney. Makes me realize the huge variance the word "sad" encompasses

Two things hearing from players re Hernandez:

1. Sympathy for family of Odin Lloyd;

2. Wondering if what happened to Hernandez CTE related.

It's OK to feel terrible for Aaron Hernandez's daughter and the life he wasted, while not feeling remorse for Aaron Hernandez himself.

Aaron Hernandez's story might be the most perplexingly tragic thing sports has ever seen.
